Our Dental Staff

Each staff member has devoted many years to working with Dr. Gaff, some have even worked at the practice for as long as 20 years.

Donna, Hygiene Coordinator
Donna is originally from South Carolina, but Jacksonville has been home most of her life. She graduated from Pensacola Jr. College School of Dental Hygiene in 1970 and has been in our office since 1983. Although she began as a Hygienist, Donnas has held every position here; except of course Dr. Gaff’s. Her versatility and skill have been a blessing to our office and our patients. She is now part time as the front office Hygiene Coordinator and greets patients as they come in and when they call. With more free time now, she loves being able to enjoy adventures with Bud, her husband of more than 40 years. They have one daughter.

Renee, Dental Assistant
Renee is a Jacksonville native. She attended Jacksonville schools and started her career as a Dental Assistant in 1977. Renee is married and has been with our office as Dr. Gaff’s assistant since 2006. She takes excellent care of every patient and is wonderful in making them feel very comfortable.

Gail, Office Coordinator
Gail moved to Jacksonville in 1989 from New London, CT, but is originally from New Hampshire. Her dental office experience started in 1986 in Connecticut. She has been in our office since 1990. Gail is our office coordinator and she welcomes and enjoys getting to know every patient. Gail helps with scheduling, insurance, and financial arrangements. She is married, has three children and loves spending time with her family.

Mechelle, Hygienist
Although born in Jacksonville, Mechelle’s family moved to Mississippi shortly after. She moved back to Jacksonville during Junior High and graduated from Terry Parker High School in 1991. She began dental assisting while still in high school. She started with our office in 1995 as a dental assistant; then went back to school for Dental Hygiene and graduated from FSCJ in 2003. Patients say she is thorough, yet gentle and they really love how “at home” she makes them feel. Mechelle is happily married, has one daughter, and is a faithful member of North Jacksonville Baptist Church.
